Back by popular demand the CYDT Summer Camp will return in 2018!
At CYDT we know how important an active and rewarding summer is for kids. That’s why the CYDT Summer Arts & Dance Camp is an exciting and affordable choice for children children in Grades 3 to 5. Our trained staff offer engaging, value-driven summer programming.
CYDT aims to provide the highest quality summer experience for our campers and families. It’s our mission to help build the self-esteem and self-worth of every child through our every action. Our camp offers children the opportunity to build physical skills, dally with dance, express their own creativity, and build meaningful and lasting relationships with other campers and members of the local community.
When is the CYDT Summer Arts & Dance Camp?
This year our program will run over three weeks during the month of July:
How much does it cost?
At just $100 a week, plus free Before & After care, the CYDT Arts & Dance Summer Camp is the best value around!
Booking all three weeks? Even better! Book three weeks for a total of just $250!
Who can attend?
We run a comprehensive and engaging program for children in Grades 3 to Grade 5.
What time does the Camp begin and end?
Camp runs from 9am - 5pm with free Before & After care beginning at 8am and ending at 6pm.
What do Campers do all day?
In the mornings, campers are inspired by the natural world, art history and contemporary artists, and are encouraged to use a variety of materials, such as paint, dry media and found objects to create art!
In the afternoons, a blend of camp activities including dance rounds round out the daily camp experience.
Campers may also explore art in various forms with off-site trips, which they are invited to engage in with parental consent.
What will campers need to bring?
Campers are asked to bring along a nut-free lunch and snacks for a few breaks throughout the day, including a refillable bottle for frequent water breaks.
